Dropstone Outfitting caters to people who want to explore the Bob Marshall Wilderness on foot without the burden of a heavy pack. Our guided backcountry hiking trips are accompanied by a small string of pack stock that carry your gear and food. We focus on travelling with minimum impact to the land while providing you with good food, good company, and a specific knowledge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We provide “theme” centered trips, such as “Yoga in the Scapegoat Wilderness” as well as client-designed trips. We are located in north central Montana, just a few miles from one of the largest wilderness areas in the lower 48 states. Come explore the wilder side of the west with us!
