Last Friday, we posted a photo that really caught your attention! In response, we received a lot of questions about the reptile in the photo—the American crocodile.

In short, American crocodiles are found in the Everglades! They are a native species here in southern Florida where they occur at the northern end of their range. In fact, southern Florida is the only place in the world where both alligators and crocodiles coexist.
