Located in Fennville, MI near Saugatuck. This glamping site is nestled on 45 wooded acres and just recently opened. We stayed in gorgeous The Fernwood A-Frame and there are 15 sites to choose from with different styles.

Each glamping site comes with a hammock and private fire pit- some also have AC (The Fernwood did!)

The complimentary breakfast was the best I've had- the staff made delicious cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches over the campfire along with fresh coffee each morning. They had refreshments and iced tea during the day. At night we treated ourselves to s'mores! They also have farm fresh eggs available from the onsite chickens. What more can you ask for?! 🥰

The bathhouse is an easy walk from each glamping site and is stunning!

❤️ romantic couple's getaway idea in Tennessee! ❤️

Hiwassee River Retreat 🥂 📍 Calhoun, TN (40 miles from Chattanooga) {hosted}

This retreat currently has two riverfront cabins to choose from (both have similar layouts & same amenities but are decorated differently!). Each cabin has a clawfoot soaking tub with a view, full kitchen, bathroom with a double shower, king bed, loft area with games, outdoor dining bar, double outdoor shower, hot tub, and fire pit!

I love that have a welcome gift for their guests which include snacks, slippers that go with your robes, complimentary champagne or sparkling juice, and a heart lock to place on their lock of love wall.

They also have a dock, kayaks and a stand up paddle board for guests to use (these are seasonal).

My favorite amenity was the unique Riverview treetop soaking tub! The view is incredible and it was so peaceful (this is an add-on to your booking at an extra cost).

I love how quiet and peaceful this area is! It's a true hidden gem 💎. Sitting on the dock at sunset and spotting eagles fly over the river was such a neat experience.

Bolt Farm has unique mirror cabins! These cabins are perfect for a couples getaway and can sleep up to two guests. You can choose from a forest mirror cabin where you're surrounded by trees or a cliffside mirror cabin with a mountain view (featured in this reel).

Each cabin has a queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom with added privacy, games, a record player, projector, private fire pit, grill with pizza oven, hammock, robes + slippers, and hot tub.

During the day you can't see in the cabins but at night you can if the lights are on (they have black-out curtains for night).

The property has hiking trails and waterfalls to explore!

They also have special events for guests- we enjoyed happy hour and brunch.

Have you ever stayed in a treehouse? 🌲

The The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue in Glenmont, Ohio is listed as one of the top 30 treehouse hotels in the world by Travel and Leisure!

I stayed in the Old Pine which was constructed with 100% reclaimed materials including 100 year old barn siding. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living area, TV (no cable or streaming services but has a DVD player), deck with a table & chairs, and a seasonal outdoor shower.

There's no wifi and cellphone service can be spotty (I still had service most of the time on my phone here). It's the perfect place to disconnect!

Winter has to be the most underrated time to visit Hocking Hills in Ohio ✨. All of the ice is melting and making the waterfalls look even more magical! The combination of fog and rain reminds me of the PNW 😍.

Christmastime in Williamsburg, Virginia is so magical!

This is one of my favorite Christmas trips to date. There is so much to do including Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Christmas markets, Christmas parades, a lavender farm, and cozy restaurants 🎄.

The Blue Spruce Cabin at Kindle Ridge Luxury Cabins is such a dreamy cabin stay and is located in Dahlonega, GA {hosted}.

Some of my favorite things about this cabin include...

- the double sliding doors that open up to the mountain view (there's even a screen you can use in the warmer months to keep the doors open and the bugs out).

- the bathroom has large windows and the double shower is so beautiful! It has a rainfall showerhead, and two regular showerheads (plus the most beautiful blue tile I've ever seen!).

- the king size bed is so comfortable and we slept so well at night.

- the kitchenette had everything we needed and we loved having meals at the bar facing the mountain views.

-the shades are also a projector screen and we were able to stream movies and shows.

- the whole deck area! This deck has a double outdoor shower, a hot tub, built-in bench with gas fire pit, and a bar with two chairs (it even has a bottle opener next to the bar!). I also loved how it lit up with lights at night.

- the cabin is in such a great location and we didn't go up any crazy/steep hills to get to it.

- it's located near many hiking trails, waterfalls, wineries, and the cute mountain towns of Dahlonega and Helen.

My husband and I recently took a Christmas trip to the Smoky Mountains and we stayed in the cutest cabin On Water's Edge Cabin, Adventure Awaits 🌟🎄🥰 {hosted}

This cabin is decorated so cute for Christmas and it just made our trip even more special! We loved coming back after a day of exploring Pigeon Forge to warm up next to the cozy fire.

This cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen (fully equipped with everything you'd ever need!), wood burning fireplace, hot tub, private fire pit, and it overlooks a private fishing pond (that guests can use!).

There's also an air hockey table and plenty of board games to pick from.

Christmas at the Biltmore 🎄

The Candlelight Christmas Evenings are happening now and lasts until January 6th. See all the trees and fireplaces lit up at the Biltmore ✨.

If you haven't heard of the Biltmore, it's located in Ashville, North Carolina and is the largest privately owned home in the US. It's 175,000 square feet and has 250 rooms 🤯. Those include 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces!

Not only is the house gorgeous, so is the 75 acres of formal and informal gardens.

The Biltmore grounds also has a hotel, inn, and cottages you can stay at. There are shops and restaurants at the Antler Hill Village and a winery!

Make sure to plan a whole day or even a weekend here.

Tickets to get in are expensive- they start at $99+ depending what tour you want. I thought it was so worth it! Your ticket also includes a wine tasting at the winery.
