Sometimes a trip starts with a place you’ve never been. And sometimes it starts with a place you’ve never forgotten!

Jill remembered passing through Sedona over 30 years ago and had always dreamed of going back. So when she reached out about planning a trip with her husband and adult son, we took that memory and built a 17-day adventure around it.

Sedona was the heart of the trip, but we added Zion, Bryce Canyon and several other National Parks and stops along the way to turn it into one pretty epic road trip 🏜️

Peru has SO much more to offer than just Machu Picchu. 🇵🇪

Machu Picchu is absolutely a bucket-list experience. But imagine combining it with the Sacred Valley, Cusco, incredible Peruvian food, the Amazon rainforest…and even the Galápagos. 😍

I think people sometimes hear “guided tour” and immediately picture a bus full of retirees. That really isn’t what it has to be.

For a destination like Peru, I actually LOVE the idea of touring. There are a lot of moving pieces between cities, trains, entrance times, guides and transportation. Machu Picchu itself now uses specific timed routes/circuits, so this isn’t necessarily a destination where I would want to just show up and wing it.

A tour handles those logistics while still giving you the experiences you actually came for. And you’re traveling with other people who want to see the world too: whether you’re 35, 55 or 75.

Basically: less time figuring out how to get there and more time actually being there.

If Peru has been sitting on your bucket list, 2027 and 2028 are open and now is a great time to start looking at which version of Peru makes sense for you. And if we’re going that far…I’m going to have a hard time talking you out of adding the Galápagos!

Another bucket-list birthday trip is officially in the works! 🎂

My clients have had Mackinac Island, Michigan on their list, and they’re making it happen with a stay at a quaint bed & breakfast right on the island — which honestly feels like the perfect way to experience Mackinac.

One of the things that makes Mackinac so unique? There are no cars! 🚫🚗

Once you arrive by ferry, transportation looks a little different. You’ll get around on foot, by bicycle, or by horse-drawn carriage. And those carriages aren’t just there for sightseeing — they’re part of everyday island life, serving as taxis, delivering luggage to hotels, transporting supplies and getting visitors where they need to go.

Add in historic homes and hotels, beautiful Lake Huron views, Arch Rock, Fort Mackinac, bike rides, little shops and restaurants, and plenty of famous Mackinac Island fudge, and it’s easy to see why this one makes so many bucket lists.

I especially love that they chose a B&B rather than making Mackinac a quick day trip. Staying overnight means getting to enjoy the island after many of the day visitors have taken the ferry back to the mainland — slower, quieter and exactly the kind of experience you picture when you think of Mackinac.

Another “we’ve always wanted to do that” trip becoming a reality. ❤️

UNICO Montego Bay is coming to Jamaica, and this one has been HIGH on my hit list for adults looking for a new all-inclusive experience.
