Good afternoon, travelers!

Due to the developing situation in the Middle East, we are pausing all itineraries for the following countries until we deem it safe to resume doing so: Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Airlines will do their thing to avoid the conflict zones, but as Iran has proxies in Yemen that are firing missiles as well, we feel it best to close these destinations from our services at this time.

Good morning, travelers- we have an urgent notice here regarding the violent riots in Los Angeles.

Effective immediately, we will be dropping all flight connection options for LAX and will keep this in place until further notice.

What does this mean for you?

Well, you won't be transiting through LAX through any planner or assistance we give you. Those traveling to Hawaii will be offered connections in Dallas and other places if a connection is needed, without altering the lowest price we can get you.

This is out of a concern for safety and while the airport is, as of this posting, safe to be around- that can change, especially due to the high crime neighborhoods surrounding the airport.

Travel Tip: Direct vs. Connect

This is a thing that pops up as a problem for us every once in a while and while the connecting price may be cheaper- there's something you're not thinking about in that moment because you're still in "WOW! What a deal!" mode. That's perfectly fine!

BUT-

Remember that some airlines, seemingly most at this point, charge your checked baggage per SEGMENT rather than start to finish. Your nearest airport may be $200 with one stop, but the airport 2hrs from you is $210 and non-stop.

Calculate that checked bags can be $60 (or in a certain airline's case, like $200) and you're wasting money. That nearby airport just cost you $200 for the ticket and $60x4 (they charge per segment) equals out to $240, making that deal you thought you had now costing you $440!

While driving 2hrs to another airport isn't everyone's favorite, it can be the thing that saves you a lot of money and that's what we as travelers are always trying to do as we explore the world!
