Back on the water after getting back from vc. Glad to be home! The fish are right where I left them. The striped fish’s size is above average which is awesome! My buddy Shawn said he was catching some eyes so I switched over. I tried my Sooner lake method but didn’t hook any up bottom bouncing. Put on my jig and some secrete sauce and caught a couple with daylight fading. One was just 15in but the other one was a good one. Im moving some dates around because of the wind but still have some after friday. Im ready to get with it!

Went out with a couple friends today on Sooner. Targeting saugeye of coarse. Weather was perfect and the Memorial Day boat traffic wasn’t that bad. We caught plenty but only a few overs this time. Some nice sized white perch as well. All in all a good day..

Hit Sooner today for some me time. I just love fishing this lake for saugeye. Its about 5 hrs on the road for me but its always worth it. I lost count on the unders I caught but ended up with my limit of 18in or better. I run trips there if anyone wants to go. Be prepared to stay all day. Catch plenty. Learn how i do it and take some eater’s home.
