I had a free day today and just couldn’t sit around the house. Not on a perfect weather day. I grabbed my cameras and set out to make a youtube video. Figured i needed one good fish to make it interesting. I used big baits and only had one 10 pound blue by noon. Then I landed a 40. Before i could get things situated i caught a 15 and ended the day on another 15 or so. The bite was slow and fish are scattered but you can still pick up a few here and there. Cant wait until the December bite.

We wore out the paddle fish today. Cats not so much. Everyone liked catching spooners so much that we went back for round two. We even landed one with a Oologah band as a bonus. We are lucky Oklahoma has such great fisheries.
I going to be chasing deer for a few days with my kids on my land out West. I’ll be back after cats later this week.

Went after spoonbills today. Pulled for some cats afterwards as a bonus. Caught plenty of cats and missed a bunch as well. Just no bigs this time. The waves were about as big as i can fish on the North end today. The cats will just keep getting better and better.

We rode the waves on Oologah today. Guys came in from Minisoda on a one day timeframe so tomorrow wasn’t an option. I couldn’t fish my favorite spots or pull boards but we did ok anyhow.

So I went out on a limb yesterday and said we would catch a toad today. We did. That’s all we landed though but that’s ok. It was a great fish for sure.
We went to a sandbass spot after dragging boards and finished the day up catching sandbass on jigs. That’s about it. Fun group of clients.
I’m getting my game back on for the big cat season. Give me a call to go out.
