Huge congratulations to Colton Hutchison Fishing, representing Discover Clarion County at the 2026 Newport Bassmaster Kayak Series Championship on Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina, October 15–17.

This is the first-ever standalone championship in the series, bringing together roughly 150 of the country’s top qualified anglers and Colton's among them. We’re cheering from the Pennsylvania Wilds!

Fall Fest is coming to Zacherl's Farm Market & Greenhouse ! 🍂

Head to Zacherl’s October 17–18 from 12–5 PM for a weekend filled with fall favorites, including a corn maze, pumpkin patch, live music, hayrides, apple c***r demos, Davey’s Donuts, face painting, balloon artists, and more.

And if you can’t make it that weekend, there’s still plenty to enjoy throughout October. The corn maze, pumpkin patch, farm market, and other fall activities are open seven days a week!

Grab the family, spend some time on the farm, and make the most of fall in Clarion County.

Spend an evening listening for the sounds of the forest after dark. 🦉

Join Discover Clarion and Clear Creek State Forest for a Spooky Night Owl Prowl in Cook Forest State Park on October 15th.

This educational evening program will explore the owls that call the Forest Cathedral home, with a chance to learn more about these elusive nighttime birds and hopefully hear, or even spot, one along the way.

As the leaves begin to turn, winding roads, wooded trails, and river views take on a whole new look.

Autumn Leaf Festival

Bendal's Berry Patch has plenty to explore this fall. 🎃

Throughout October, head to the farm for a day of seasonal fun, including pick-your-own pumpkins, a sunflower field, and a pumpkin-shaped corn maze.

Bendal’s Berry Patch will be open every Saturday and Sunday through October 25th. Grab the family, wander through the fields, find the perfect pumpkin, and enjoy a fall day in Clarion County!

Parking: the unofficial sport of Autumn Leaf Festival

If you're staying at one of the hotels off the I-80 exit — Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, Microtel, Spark by Hilton, or Motel 6 — or you'd just rather steer clear of downtown traffic, hop on the festival shuttle from the Clarion Mall.

Schedule as follows:
• Friday, Oct. 9 — 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 10 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Rides are $1.25 per trip (exact change required). PennWest University students, kids under 6, and seniors 65+ ride free. Thanks Ride ATA!
