“Dear children, Thank you for continuing to respond to my invitations and for gathering here around me, your heavenly mother. I know that you are thinking of me with love and hope. I, too, feel love for all of you, just as my most beloved Son also feels it: He who, through his merciful love, is always sending me to you anew; He who was man; He who was and is God – one and triune; He who suffered in body and soul for your sake; He who made Himself bread to feed your souls and thus to save them.
My children, I am teaching you how to be worthy of His love, to direct your thoughts to Him, to live my Son.

Apostles of my love, I am covering you with my mantle, because as a mother I desire to protect you. I am imploring you to pray for the whole world. My heart is suffering. Sins are multiplying, they are too numerous.

But with the help of those of you who are humble, modest, filled with love, hidden and holy, my heart will triumph. Love my Son above all and the whole world through Him. "Dear children!
Today I call you to begin to pray the Rosary with a living faith. In that way I will be able to help you. You, dear children, wish to obtain graces, but you are not praying. ... Dear children, I am calling you to pray the Rosary and that your Rosary be an obligation which you shall fulfill with joy. In that way you shall understand the reason I am with you this long. Jesus Christ "could have won with strength, but He chose meekness, humility and love."
May we follow his good example more often.
Medjugorje message, Gospa, our Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary, July 2, 2007:

"Dear children! In the great love of God, I come to you today to lead you on the way of humility and meekness. The first station on that way, my children, is confession. Reject your arrogance and kneel down before my Son. Comprehend, my children, that you have nothing and you can do nothing. The only thing that you have and that you possess is sin. Be cleansed and accept meekness and humility. My Son could have won with strength, but He chose meekness, humility and love. Follow my Son and give me your hands so that, together, we may climb the mountain and win. Thank you."
Again Our Lady spoke about the importance of priests, and their blessing.

-- Gospa, Our Lady (the Blessed Virgin Mary) said to the visionaries at the very beginning of the apparitions in 1981, on the second day. She's been encouraging and comforting all her children around the world and praying for each of us continuously.

"Only we can keep ourselves in Our Lady's motherly embrace by faith, conversion to God, prayer and fasting, ..' " "Surely she would not stay this long if her plan was destined to fail. She knows what God promised... give thanks for all the graces even during that time of war. .."

Summary of HOMILY below, translated by Sarcevic family: June 25, 1995, by Croatian world-renowned theologian Franciscan Dr. Fr Ljudevit Rupcic (d 2003)

SUMMARY of HOMILY , 1995
Fr Rupcic started the homily by saying how Our Lady came to Medjugorje and has stayed with us and showed her love for us for 14 years (at that time in '95) , to light the path and lead us to her son, Jesus, "because He is the Life and the Peace we search for. Often we look for it on the wrong paths and through dangerous means."
She is our concerned Mother of all people as well as the Queen of Peace. One quote from the homily: "...with all the millions of people who passed through Medjugorje, no one left with ignorance; everyone was touched and everyone received the most precious gift from his Mother - Jesus Christ - through faith and by faith..."
He later said Our Lady began a plan which is still not completed, since people live not in freedom but as slaves to things, to cheap thrills. "The water without a riverbed becomes a marsh." He referred to the war in former Yugoslavia which was not yet over in June, 1995. Our Mother, Mary's long presence gives us hope: "She has access to God's power, ...and stays with us... Surely she would not stay this long if her plan was destined to fail. She knows what God promised... She knows what people need today. They need God... to succeed over (Satan), only through her Son. Only Jesus can bring our hearts true peace. "She is unveiling the Gospel,... Jesus shed His innocent blood to redeem us from our sins...."
He closes by asking to give thanks for all the graces even during that time of war. Only we can keep ourselves in Our Lady's motherly embrace by faith, conversion to God, prayer and fasting, to let her "walk with us into the future, Christ's future."
