The way you see yourself is a direct reflection of how you see the world—and in business, this truth is magnified. Your business is an extension of your mindset.

As we welcome the vibrant colors of spring, let's make it a point to bring more color into our lives, bodies, and workspaces:

🌱 Prepare and enjoy colorful meals to nourish your body. Eating a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables provides a range of essential nutrients.
🌼 Consider planting flowers or vegetables to engage in the therapeutic benefits of gardening, which can help clear your mind and rejuvenate you for the week ahead.
💐 Keep your office space clean, organized, and filled with color to create a calming environment that can help reduce stress.

🍊Orange and yellow foods such as carrots and sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene, which is important for eye health and immune function.
🥦Green foods like spinach and kale provide essential nutrients like folate and vitamin K.
🫐Blue and purple foods like blueberries and eggplant are super foods with antioxidant properties.
🍉Red and pink fruits and vegetables like tomatoes and watermelon contain lycopene, which can reduce the risk of certain cancers and heart disease.

🌟 Self-Care Sunday Reminder🌟

Spending just 20 to 30 minutes immersed in nature can drop cortisol levels – the body's primary stress hormone. Time in nature has also been shown to boost endorphin levels and dopamine, both of which promote happiness.

A walk in the woods, or adventure to a waterfall can help with the Sunday scaries - feelings of anxiety or dread that occur as the weekend ends and the workweek begins.

Encourage your employees (and yourself 😉) to take a micro-break:
1. **Walk:**
- A quick walk around the block or office can boost energy and clear the mind.
2. **Desk Yoga:**
- Simple stretches and yoga poses that can be done at the desk to relieve tension.
3. **Box Breathing:**
- Practice the box breathing technique to calm the mind and reduce stress. (Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds.)
4. **Stand/Stretch During a Meeting:**
- Encourage standing or stretching during long meetings to avoid stiffness and boost circulation.
5. **Daydream:**
- Allow a moment to let the mind wander and spark creativity.
6. **Creative Writing:**
- Take five minutes for free writing or journaling to process thoughts and emotions.
7. **Brainstorm:**
- Use a break to brainstorm new ideas or solutions to ongoing projects.
8. **Check-In with a Colleague:**

3 ways to create a positive environment: ✨focus on your accomplishments.
✨ celebrate and acknowledge your friends, kids, and co-workers wins.
✨carve out 15 minutes a day for fresh air, deep breathes, sunshine, and gratitude.

If you don’t have 15 minutes, give yourself 5. We always have 5 minutes and make it a non-negotiable. You are worth it!
