Yarntastic This page started to help me foster a pit, who is now mine...page is now helping homeless shelters!! It was supposed to be a six month visit.

This page began about three years ago, when I was blessed with becoming a foster mom for a pitbull while his mom was in the military. After six months, his mom abandoned him...this was two and a half years ago. I proudly call him mine now. I have decided to use my knitting skills to help others now. I work with the community in my town, and thought it would be a wonderful idea to knit warm hats an

d scarves for the shelters and warming centers. Since starting this project, I have received donations of looms, and many skeins of yarn!!! I want to thank those who have donated, and I hope more of you can, so that I can get more of these out before the really cold months hit!
