Starting 2019 with a great new review. Thanks Jessica!! “This is a great place to stay in Clayton! Everything was clean and comfortable; the house is very close to town (close enough to walk) but it feels very private tucked back in the trees. We were able to bring our dogs, which is a plus. Plenty of linens, parking, dishes and pots & pans if you need them.”

"Heather and Byron have created such a charming getaway in Clayton! We loved all their special touches - especially the record player, vinyl collection, and string twinkle lights on the porch. Heather gave us great recommendations re: food, shopping, and things to do before we arrived - we followed her advice and enjoyed great meals at Fortify, Fortify Pi and The Farmhouse at the Waterfall Club - all within walking distance or a short drive away. The house is also a great home-base for hikes and scenic overlooks - we tackled Blackrock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge, Brasstown Bald and Minnehaha Falls during our stay. We had such a great time that we now want to move to Clayton. :) Highly recommend Heather and Byron's place!"

So grateful for this wonderful review: My wife and I were just amazed at how great the Rabun Retreat was. The decor was modern but still rustic, and the place was spotless. It was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway cabin. The bedrooms were a good size and the master bed was very comfortable.The cabin is also so close to the downtown area it's perfect if you want to visit shops or grab a bite. The check-in and checkout process was a breeze, and Heather was very helpful, kind and quick to respond. We've stayed in a handful of other airbnb properties, and this one is, by far, our favorite. We'll definitely be back again!
