The Polynesian has always been one of my favorite resorts at all of Walt Disney World and was my GO TO resort when I wanted to be on the monorail and close to the Magic Kingdom.

You just can't beat the proximity, theming, and overall feel of this resort. The pool and the Dole Whips are a big hit too!

The new 10 story Island Tower will be opening in December of 2024 and if you wanna be one of the first to stay there, you bettah listen up.

Island Tower will feature room categories that will accommodate from 1 to 9 guests, studios, 1 & 2 bedroom villas, and two brand new two bedroom penthouse villas as well.

I know it’s tempting to grab that ticket on the early morning of your embarkation day.

I mean it’s cheaper than the one that goes out the day before and you’ll save the cost of the hotel and dinner.

Makes sense right?

That’s a negative Ghost Rider.

One of the biggest mistakes first time cruisers often make is booking flights to land on the same day their cruise departs.

Any type of travel delay or cancellation will put you at risk of missing your cruise entirely. This would be quite a costly mistake since you've already paid for your cruise in full at this point.

Think about all the things that can go wrong when you choose to fly on the same day as your cruise begins. From weather delays to maintenance issues, there are a million things that can go wrong when flying and we all know lately airline travel has not been the most reliable method to get where you are going on time.

You’re basically leaving it up to fate and good travel mercies, might as well flip a coin. lol

So start looking for those flights that arrive to the port of embarkation the day before your cruise embarks now or even consider extending your vacay a day or two and exploring the port city.

It will protect your cruise investment and also save you a lot of stress too!

This Preferred category resort offers convenient Water Taxi transportation to the theme parks and Universal CityWalk or you can take a short stroll down the walking path if water taxis aren’t your thing. 🛥️🚶🏻‍♀️

Sapphire Falls is Caribbean inspired and features a 16,000-𝔰𝔮𝔲𝔞𝔯𝔢-𝔣𝔬𝔬𝔱 𝔭𝔬𝔬𝔩 with a sand beach, hot tub, cabanas (for rent), water slide, children’s play area, fire pit and more!
