This is what community looks like. ❤️🤍💙
Last night, Flat Creek wasn't just the site of a fireworks show—it was a place where neighbors became friends, families made memories, kids ran and played until dark, and people came together to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. 🇺🇸✨
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special.
A huge thank you to the Gragg family for once again opening their beautiful property and sharing it with all of us. Your generosity and love for this community are truly appreciated.
And to every single volunteer... thank you. From welcoming guests, cooking, setting up, cleaning up, leading the program, praying, singing, performing, helping the kids, directing parking, and making sure everything ran smoothly—you are the reason this event was such a success. A special thank you to the members of Flat Creek Baptist Church, the entire Gragg family, their friends, and all the community volunteers who generously gave their time, resources, and talents. Events like this simply don't happen without people willing to serve. 👏❤️
The free ticket system worked exactly as hoped, helping keep attendance, parking, and traffic organized so everyone could safely enjoy the evening. Thank you all for embracing it and helping make the event enjoyable for everyone.
From the opening prayer by Father Tim Holcomb, the welcoming remarks by Joshua Gragg, the beautiful National Anthem performed by Ms. Lisa Argent Holcomb, the music by Adam Gragg, the performance by members of Flat Creek Baptist Church, the lantern release, the kids' Roman candle line, the delicious food, and of course the incredible fireworks... every detail reflected the heart and hard work of so many people. 🎆✨
This wasn't just a Fourth of July celebration—it was a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with generosity, kindness, and a shared purpose.
If you attended and enjoyed the evening, please consider making a donation to help keep this tradition alive. Every dollar goes directly toward making next year's celebration possible. ❤️
