Well this post took a turn. The first 5 spots on our 3 tank spear trip today were phenomenal. Top to bottom vis at all 5. Goliath grouper, turtles, barracuda, schools of amberjacks, spade fish, small hangover snapper and tropical fish galore. Just beautiful diving. We had speared barely any fish at all and everyone was happy and were enjoying the day, because we were diving. Then Captain Jason picked 2 more spots that produced these stringers. Why we run our spear trips the way we do.

The weather looks fantastic for the upcoming holiday weekend, and if last weekend was any indication, the diving is going to be absolutely epic! Visibility has been beautiful and we expect it to continue right through the weekend.

Full send Sunday!! 3 Tank Sheridan wreck trip, 3 Tank Spearfishing trip and back to back rod and reel fishing trips. Going to end it after these with a dolphin and sunset trip. We hope your having as much fun as us on the water today.

Sea conditions yesterday were 1 foot or less, visibility was top to bottom, and the diving has been absolutely beautiful right here in our backyard.

If spending 6+ hours in the car fighting traffic sounds like your idea of a relaxing weekend, then by all means, head for the east coast or the Keys. 😅

For the rest of us who’d rather spend our time underwater than sitting in traffic, the Gulf is about as good as it gets right now. 🤙🏼

Rich “Earned his strikes”—and bragging rights for the next six months—with this XL fire truck! 🔥

The bite stayed slow most of the day, but we still picked our way to a respectable box. At the end of the day though, it’s all about one thing with this crew… who takes home King of the Hill until the next trip.

Rich stayed patient, stayed determined, and it paid off big—landing this 32-inch red grouper at the final stop of the day. Absolute stud fish to close it out! 🎣👑

Two of the most important dive dates on the 2 Shea calendar are right around the corner!

Monday:
The safest place in the galaxy? Obviously underwater—aboard one of our boats.
