Happy Halloween! According to History.com, “The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween.”

For me, Halloween is a day to celebrate the loved ones we have lost. It’s a day of celebration but also a day of sorrow. This year it will be particularly difficult for me because I lost my mom unexpectedly just 4 days ago. I choose to celebrate her beautiful life today.

Make time to cherish your loved ones, but love yourself too. Heal and re-energize you body, mind and soul every once in a while with an escape….because after all, Orange You Worth It?

You need an escape to beautiful Central Florida. Spend a day or two exploring the local area theme parks like Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventures or Sea World Orlando.

Not into theme parks but love to cycle? Clermont has a gorgeous hilly terrain and cyclers come from near and far to ride here.

Into Triathlons, we have great running trails and gorgeous lakes for you to train in/on.

Like local Wineries or Craft Breweries? We've got them too!
