🦋 Monarch migration has officially started and the beautiful monarchs are starting to make their way through Cleveland.

Migration is affected by weather conditions but peak migration normally happens the 3rd week of September.

We stopped by the butterfly field in Bay Village today and only saw a few butterflies (pictured in this reel)

This field is located right across from the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center in Bay Village.

The City of North Olmsted just announced they will push back the splash pad closing date to September 14th (originally September 7th) due to hot weather we’ve been experiencing in Cleveland.

This Sunday, September 6th is BUG DAY! At Penitentiary Glen Reservation from 12pm-4pm.

There will be games, activities, crafts and LIVE bugs 🐜

There will also be miniature steam train rides from 1pm-3pm.

This is a free event with no registration.

Open Wednesdays-Sundays and it’s cheaper if you’re able to go during the week.

You can get tickets at the door Wednesday-Friday but Saturday and Sunday are online only.
