I’ve been wanting to put together a pink and black spooky fit for awhile now and what better time to do it than October 3?!

Rounded out my day in Braxton County with a trip to 💎🔮

I had the most WONDERFUL reiki session with Heather who helped get me right after a few really stressful weeks at work. She gave me suggestions after for how to gradually release that negative energy which was so helpful 🥹

And of course I had to snag a few crystals to bein some of this shops wonderful energy home with me. If you’re visiting Sutton, Crystal Hippie is 100% worth a stop!

While you’re exploring paranormal Braxton County, be sure to stop into The Spot and The Braxton Bistro for a snack or meal!

📍The Spot is an exterestrial themed snack shack in Flatwoods. They offer a variety of burgers, wings, salads, sandwiches and ice cream treats! I had to get “The Flatwoods:” one of their UFO Signature Saucer Sandwiches. Followed up by a flavor burst ice cream cone!

📍The BrAXton Bistro is located on Main Street in Sutton, right between the and . The restaurant offers some yummy bar food and pasta dishes alongside arcade games and axe throwing experience!

Who doesn’t love a good scavenger hunt with a prize at the end?! 🗺️🔎

While visiting Braxton County last year I went on the hunt to find all five of the Flatwoods Monster chairs. This fun little challenge starts at the monster museum where they give you a map of all of the chair locations.

Most were easy to find, except for the last pic where i made a wrong turn and wound up off road in my corolla on the side of a whole ass mountain for a solid half hour 🤦🏼‍♀️ but that was a personal problem, not on the county’s fault lol 😂

Once I snapped a pic in each of the chairs, I headed back to the museum to pick up my special Braxxie sticker for completing the challenge!

This was such a fun way to spend the afternoon and to get to know Braxxie and the county more!

Not only does this museum hold original newspaper clippings, eyewitness accounts, and historical documents from the eerie 1952 sighting, but it also doubles as the Braxton County Visitors Center. From unique artwork to Braxxie merchandise, this place has everything for fans of the paranormal. If you’re into legends and lore, this is a must-visit spot on your spooky travels! 🕯️🛸

🦶🏾Just West Virginia Bigfoot tings 🦶🏾

If you’re into cryptids, visiting Braxton Country in WV is an absolute must! Aside from the famed Flatwoods Monster, the county has also had a decent amount of Bigfoot activity as well.

This museum tells the stories of all of those sightings, the people who’ve reported them and of course some general info about the big guy.

I had such a wonderful and relaxing night stay at the e ! This historic estate turned lodge and cafe is the perfect place to stay for anyone coming in to explore Braxton County.

I stayed in the Meadow Room (primarily because it’s purple 😂) but the cozy king size bed and full bath with a claw foot tub didn’t hurt either 💁🏼‍♀️

For anyone looking to have a more outdoorsy experience they also offer glamping domes and a fire pit!

The hotel also serves daily breakfast for guests and a cafe opens in the evening for dinner service. 10/10 would recommend this place!

I had such a wonderful stay at the in Sutton, WV. My room was so beautiful and comforting. I brought my own lil spa basket to level up on my relaxation and i think I’ll be doing this most of the times i travel now 😂

As a recovering addict, this shirt was screaming my name. Had to take home some merch after meeting the infamous Co***ne Bear.

We spent more time in than I’d like to admit 😂 their cheeky souvenirs were right up my alley. Check out my last reel to see more of what they offer!

No trip to Kentucky is complete without some fried chicken… so after the fun mall we made a stop at Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken before we hit the road back to Ohio.

I LOVED our weekend trip to Kentucky so much. And now I hear there’s a passport activity by ?! Sounds like i need to plan another trip back soon 🙊

A whole convention about Cryptids? 😯

I was like a kid in a candy story y’all. So much so I got too excited and forgot to take any other pictures 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had so much fun looking through all of the amazing vendors and the little monster treasures they create. I came home with art prints, tshirts, stuffies, bath bombs, books, figurines, you name it 😂

I think my favorite part about CryptidCon tho was connecting with so much of the Midwest cryptid community. It’s not often I get to talk to people who love these lil creatures as much as I do 🥹
