Had a great week. I had to use some of my Desert Mountain Medicine WFR training for a biker we found on the white rim during a tour I helped lead. Ended up calling in the cavalry. He wasn't improving. Obviously, no pics of the patient.
Anyway, we saw more big horn sheep and I love this area!

The best part about being here is the extremes I can enjoy within hours. Hiking a 14'er, then off-roading in a national park. Can't ask for much more.

So, this past week I/we went for arguably the most rewarding hike I've been on. We hiked Uncompahgre Peak. There truly was a sense of accomplishment hiking up to 14,316 ft. It was brutal though. It snowed ❄️ up there on us, in August!
I went up with a group that my good friend Sharla (in the selfie) introduced me to. Though the group walked separately due to different paces up that mountain. We chased some waterfalls after that. What a great week. I am feeling blessed.

I'll try to post up more tonight or tomorrow. I've got a ton of homework I should have done this week. Instead I hiked with a good friend and reached new heights.
Now I'm thrashing to get a course from IU about interpretation done before tomorrow when I have to be at work.
