Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing

Full day trip on one of America’s premier Bass fisheries! All tackle, fishing equipment and lures will be supplied. You bring lunch, live bait (optional) and beer for the Captain. Fishing will take place on a 21 foot 250 HP Ranger bass boat. Fishing instruction will be provided if needed. Even if you are not a fishing enthusiast, come on out for a boat tour and see gators, wading birds, and wildlife unique to the Okeechobee waterway.

LAKE OKEECHOBEE LATE JULY

Brian and his boys Edwin and Worth were visiting from NC and figured they could fit a bass trip in. The weather was hot and humid but the boys hit it at a prime time and caught the "DOG" out of em. One at 7 pounds and several more in the 4-5 pound range. Great day! Check out some of the shots below.

This is the same lake that Bassmaster magazine just removed from the top 100 Best Lakes in America. What the hell were they thinking?

Well the Roland Martin Marine Series #2 is in the books - my partner Jeff H (pictured) and I gave it go but came up just a couple pounds shy of cashing a check - caught over 30 fish and had a great day - as Arnold would say "I'll Be Baaaack"

MAY 2024 OKEECHOBEE REPORT

Boy O Boy did May go fast. Although we didn't see any monsters we did see a bunch of nice fish in the 4-5 pound range. Most days saw catches of 50 plus fish. With the spawn being over we are focusing on Blue Gill beds with topwater and Senkos. The lake is really low and all you have to do is find the areas with a lot of Blue Gill beds and cast around them. Shout out to trips with Mike, Henry, and Tom with some really nice catches (below).

We also competed in the first tournament of the 2024 Roland Martin Marine Series. It was one of those tournaments where you had em dialed in in practice but they didn't show up on tournament day. We finished middle of the pack and look forward to getting back at them in the next event in July.

APRIL IS IN THE BOOKS - The big bite from March carried on through April and we registered some really nice catches. Of note is Drew Bozych all the way from Southern California - check out some of his BIG fish below. Hats off to repeat customers Jim G from Ohio and Lou and grandson Kristian.

May is shaping up to be a numbers month as we're catching 20-30 bass a day on lures (primarily senkos and speed worms).

May is wide open and if you want to catch some numbers on lake Okeechobee message me and I'll get right back to you. Also, don't forget that we do trips to the Everglades (the Peacocks are really firing up down there)
