Had a great evening with Arne, we had doubles and fish after fish, the blue cat were on fire and of course they were all caught on the D&S Custom Jigs catfish rigs., the yellow and red rattle float they sell was so hot we had to hide rigging them for fear fish were going to jump in the boat!

Trolling .6 mph with cut Shad and shad fillets in 20’ of water. Main lake flat with some structure around it.

Just getting back on the water from bear hunting, found some big crappie out in 17-20’ deep water on brush.
They are still not really in the mood but if you get down in that brush in front of them they were taking it.

Got to spend time with my Idaho pals in bear camp.
It was the worst year for snow pack out there since the 1930’s and the bears just weren’t around.
Still lots of memories made and great times with great people.
Hunted hard and got to spend nearly three weeks in one of the most beautifull areas in the lower 48!
Time to get back on the water and get fishin now!

Quick trip with Matt this morning before all the craziness starts, man what a morning.
Great start with a nice over slot blue ripping drag bending the Hellcat Revenge rod from Catch The Fever, followed by several really good fish!
What a morning! By the way we release all over slot fish and today all fish got returned to the water.
This setup with the catfish rigs from D&S Custom Jigs is working, trolling with planer boards .6 mph and of course the catfish rigs from D&S

This is what it’s all about! I love seeing the younguns get involved! Bradly at 5 years old and his dad all the way from London England!

Bradly caught fish after fish, his first fish ever!

The catfish rigs from D&S Custom Jigs just smoked um again, those rigs on the Catch The Fever Hellcat Revenge rods were a deadly combination for the blue cat today!

At 5 years old Bradly made some life long memories today!

It was a little slow today, 7” of rain, millions of gallons of water coming into the lake and debris including whole trees made it tough! But there I was fishing anyway, found a school of blue cat in 27’ of water on a main lake flat.
Trolling planer boards with the D&S Custom Jigs catfish rigs at .6 mph with fresh caught filleted Shad was the bait on the end of my Catch The Fever Hellcat Revenge rods.
First fish to make that drag scream was a nice over slot blue cat followed by a slot then two nice two footers.
