Day 3, we had a very big day in Seattle!
*30,000 steps according to my watch!!!*
It was SO much fun exploring the city.
We went to
Pikes Peak was a dream come true to visit in person! The artists and vendors were so diverse with their talents and skills. I never knew fish and flowers could smell good together, and the roof top garden was not only beautiful but the food grown there is donated to the food bank!
The gum wall was also a bucket list item checked off ✔️ You can think it's gross, but it was so colorful and artistic. I loved it!
Salt and Straw is now my new favorite ice cream place. For someone who is and , it was nice to treat myself to some DANG GOOD ice cream! I got a seasonal flavor. It was chocolate plum hazelnut shortbread, and it is the best treat I ate the entire trip.
The Tipsy Cow also surpassed my expectations. The amount of dipping sauces they have is mind-boggling! The burger and sweet potato fries hit the spot!! And the gluten-free bun was perfectly toasted.
The pier was so fun, and the sunset was the perfect combination of calm and vibrant. Dan is not a fan of ferris wheels, so we opted for the view from below!
Lastly... another bucket list item. The Freemont Troll. 10000% recommend seeing in person! It's such a huge thing!!! And ugly in the best way!!
Also, a huge shout out to
for such a fabulous and friendly place to call home for three nights. We loved the amenities, and the location was PERFECT for all of our adventures! Being so close to
was so convenient. On our morning after checking out, we went to
and I had some scrumptious blueberry pancakes before heading to our ship!
Thanks, Seattle, for the great time!
Afterthought: Next time, I want to get some teriyaki!!! Does anyone know of a great gluten-free teriyaki place there?? Tag them below so I can go!!!
