We havenāt put a Nitrox class together for our recent students in a bit⦠and honestly, thatās on us. But hereās the good news: Nitrox is basically the āorder off the secret menuā of scuba coursesāsuper flexible and built around your schedule if need be.
Busy? No problem. We can even run the class over Microsoft Teams.
If you would prefer a regularly scheduled Nitrox class how about these dates:
May 12th, 7:00- 9:00pm
or
June 9th, 7:00- 9:00pm
or maybe
July 14th, 7:00-9:00pm
And heyāour new āReferral Diversā⦠you donāt have to wait! You can knock this out before finishing your Open Water certification and show up looking like the overachiever of the dive boat.

āWhy not just breathe air like a regular human?ā
Great question. Also⦠bold assumption that divers are regular humans.
Hereās why Nitrox is the upgrade you didnāt know you needed:
š¢ Increased Safety
Less nitrogen = less risk of decompression sickness. Itās like giving your body a little extra buffer⦠because āoopsā at 60 feet is not a great story.
š¢ Extended Bottom Time
Letās be honestādive trips arenāt cheap.
At 60 feet:
* Air = ~43 minutes
* Nitrox (32%) = ~76 minutes
Thatās not a small bump⦠thatās āyour buddy is heading up and youāre still down there living your best lifeā kind of difference.
š¢ Shorter Surface Intervals
Less nitrogen buildup means youāre back in the water faster. More dives, less waiting around pretending you enjoy snacks that much.
š¢ Reduced Fatigue
Science says āehhh, maybe.ā
Divers say āABSOLUTELY.ā
Call it bro-science, but when Nitrox divers are still going strong at dinner and air divers are face-down in a plate of fries⦠the evidence speaks.

Several Diventures tripsālike Iberostar in Cozumelāinclude Nitrox in the package. And trust me, nothing hits quite like watching your friends squeeze in longer dives while youāre already back on the boat rethinking your life choices.
On our last Cozumel trip, 35 divers showed up⦠33 were on Nitrox.
The other 2? Yeah⦠they signed up for the class as soon as they got home. Lesson learned.

Bottom line:
More time underwater, more safety margin, less waiting around, and more energy to enjoy the trip.
