🤿 Enriched Air Nitrox Course at Diventures – Des Moines 🤿
📅 Tuesday, July 14th at 6:00 PM
Can’t make that date? No worries! Contact us at Diventures on Hickman Road, and we’ll work with you to schedule a class that fits your calendar.
💡 New Referral Divers: You don’t have to wait until after your Open Water certification. You can complete your Nitrox course before you finish your Open Water training and be ready to use it on your very first dive trip!
“Why not just breathe air like a normal person?”
Enriched Air Nitrox has become the gas of choice for recreational divers around the world, and for good reason.
✅ Increased SafetyNitrox means your body absorbs less nitrogen during your dive, giving you an extra margin of safety when diving within recreational limits.
⏱️ Longer Bottom TimesWarm-water dive vacations aren’t exactly inexpensive, so why spend more time on the boat than underwater?
At 60 feet, your no-decompression limit is:
● Air: 43 minutes
● Nitrox 32%: 76 minutes
That’s 33 extra minutes exploring reefs, wrecks, turtles, and all the cool stuff you came to see!
🌊 Shorter Surface IntervalsLess nitrogen means less waiting between dives. Spend less time watching everyone else dive and more time underwater with them.
😴 Reduced FatigueScience hasn’t officially declared Nitrox the cure for the “post-dive nap,” but ask almost any diver who’s used it consistently, and they’ll tell you they feel less tired after a full day of diving.
Is it science? Is it “bro-science?” Either way… we’re diving while someone else is snoring in a hammock.
🌴 Many of the dive trips offered through Diventures already include Nitrox in the diving package, so being certified means you can take advantage of it from day one.
On a recent trip to Cozumel, 56 divers hit the water. Fifty-four were diving Nitrox. The other two spent the week listening to everyone talk about their longer dives… and both ended up taking the Nitrox course after they got home. Coincidence? We don’t think so. 😉
Get certified, dive longer, add another layer of safety, and get more out of every dive.
