Here's the updated itinerary incorporating the visit to Delphi, Greece:

**8/31-9/16**

The tour leader will fly from SFO to Athens on 8/31 with the group.

**8/31
Depart the US from SFO or other cities.

**9/1
Arrive in Athens. Overnight in Athens.

**9/2
Depart from Athens early in the morning. The drive from Athens to Delphi takes approximately 2.5 hours.
**Morning:** Arrive in Delphi and visit the archaeological site, including the Temple of Apollo, the Delphi Theatre, and the Delphi Museum.
**Afternoon:** Have lunch in Delphi. After lunch, continue the drive to Meteora (Kalambaka), which takes approximately 3 hours.
Arrive in Kalambaka in the evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy dinner at a local taverna. Overnight in Meteora.

**9/3
**Morning:** After breakfast, visit the Roussanou Monastery and the Holy Trinity Monastery of Meteora. If time permits, visit St. Stephen’s Monastery.
**Midday:** Have lunch in Kalambaka or Kastraki. Relax and take in the scenery.
**Afternoon:** Start your drive back to Athens, leaving around 2:00 PM to arrive in Athens by early evening. Overnight in Athens.

Visit the Acropolis in the morning, followed by shopping in Plaka Old Town. Enjoy a dinner set up next to the Acropolis with magnificent views. Overnight in Athens, same hotel.

**Evening:** Attend a traditional Turkish night with folklore performances and a belly dancing show. Overnight in Cappadocia (optional cave hotel costs $100 more per person).
