Day 2 of Princess Cruises Alaska Bootcamp

Today’s session focused on an important part of planning an Alaska cruise: understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all way to experience Alaska.

When a client says, “We want to cruise Alaska,” that can mean many different things. A traditional round-trip cruise may be exactly what they’re looking for, but a one-way itinerary or a cruisetour could be a much better fit depending on their travel goals.

We talked about the key differences between the various Alaska cruise options and, most importantly, how to ask the right questions to determine which experience is the best match for each client.

That’s one of the things I love about continuing my education as a travel advisor. It’s not just about knowing the destinations—it’s about understanding the options well enough to help each client create the right vacation for them.

I’m going to Alaska…well, sort of!

I’m excited to share that I’m participating in Princess Cruises’ Alaska Bootcamp!

For the next 10 days, I’ll be diving deep into everything Princess Cruises has to offer in Alaska—from the incredible destinations and onboard experiences to the history, excursions, wildlife, scenery, and all the little details that can make an Alaska cruise truly unforgettable.

And we kicked things off with a look at Princess Cruises’ incredible legacy in Alaska.

Did you know Princess sailed its first Alaska cruise way back in 1969? For more than five decades, Princess has continued to build its Alaska experience and deepen its connection to this incredible destination.

What really stood out to me today is that Princess isn’t simply about getting you from one port to another. It’s about creating meaningful experiences, genuine connections, and memories that last long after you return home.

As a travel advisor, I’m always looking for ways to better serve my clients, and this training is giving me an even deeper understanding of what makes an Alaska cruise with Princess so special.
