✨ Europe travel is entering a new era, and it’s not as simple as just grabbing your passport and boarding a flight anymore. With the rollout of the Entry/Exit System (EES)now in place, and the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) later this year, travelers are now required to navigate additional layers of documentation, pre-approvals, and biometric tracking before even setting foot in Europe. These systems are designed to enhance border security and streamline entry—but for travelers, they introduce new rules, timelines, and potential pitfalls that can quickly derail a trip if overlooked.

✨ This is why working with a travel advisor has never been more important. I stay on top of these evolving requirements so you don’t have to, ensuring that everything—from your passport validity and entry compliance to your ETIAS authorization —is handled correctly before you depart. Missing a step or misunderstanding the process could result in denied boarding or refusal of entry upon arrival. Instead of second-guessing or scrambling at the last minute, you can travel confidently knowing every detail has been proactively managed.

✨ Travel should feel exciting, not stressful. When you work with me, you’re not just booking a trip—you’re securing peace of mind in a rapidly changing travel landscape. I guide you through every requirement, monitor updates, and make sure nothing stands between you and the experience you’ve been dreaming about. Because the only surprise you should encounter in Europe is how incredible it feels to finally be there.

✨ There’s always a version of the trip that lives in your head—the one filled with effortless airport days, sun-drenched mornings, charming streets you somehow discover at the perfect moment, and dinners that feel like they were waiting just for you. In that version, everything flows. There are no missed connections, no confusing train platforms, no sold-out experiences… just you, fully present, soaking in every beautiful detail exactly as you imagined it.

✨ Then there’s the reality most travelers face when they try to piece it all together on their own. The overwhelming number of flight options, the fine print on transfers, the timing of it all, the “did I book this in the right order?” moments. It’s not that the dream disappears—it just gets buried under logistics, second-guessing, and the stress of trying to get every moving part to align perfectly.

✨ That’s where I come in. My job is to take that version of the trip you’ve been dreaming about and quietly build the structure beneath it so it actually feels that way when you arrive. Every detail is intentional, every transition seamless, every experience thoughtfully chosen—so your reality mirrors the feeling you imagined. You get to live the trip in your head… without having to manage everything behind the scenes.

✨ DIY vacation planning sounds empowering—until you realize how many hours disappear into endless tabs, conflicting reviews, outdated blog posts, and “almost right” itineraries. Time that could be spent with family, getting stuff done, or simply resting gets swallowed by researching flights that change tomorrow, hotels that look better online than in real life, and logistics no one warns you about until you’re already there. And after all that effort? Many travelers still end up with rushed days, missed experiences, long lines, and that nagging feeling of “we should’ve known this sooner.”

✨ What’s often overlooked is that DIY planning doesn’t just cost time—it can quietly lead to average results. Safe choices. Overhyped spots. Inefficient routes. Experiences that look good on Instagram but fall flat in real life. A well-designed trip should feel seamless, intentional, and tailored to you—not like a patchwork of internet advice. Your vacation time is limited and valuable; it deserves more than trial-and-error planning and crossed fingers.

✨ Just because you can DIY doesn’t mean you should. Reach out for your next trip and allow me to take the reins!

A travel tip you’ll thank me for!

🛩️ Let’s be honest, most of us don’t fly first class. If you’re like me, you would rather spend your money on private experiences over a bougie seat on a plane. This is where Airfly comes in clutch. If you prefer aisle over window, you won’t miss a single word of that movie when your row mate needs to use the bathroom every hour.

🛩️ Airfly lets you use your own Bluetooth headphones with airplane seat screens- no wires, no flimsy airline headsets. Enjoy better sound, real noise canceling, and effortless setup on every flight. It’s small, mighty, and a must-pack for long-haul travel.

🛩️ Need help packing for an international trip? I’m happy to guide you through what you think you need vs. what you really need!

🌊 Spending time near the water isn’t just relaxing—it’s genuinely healing. Whether it’s the ocean, a calm lake, or a riverside stroll, studies show that “blue spaces” reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve sleep, and boost overall mental clarity. The sound of waves naturally calms the nervous system, the negative ions in sea air promote a sense of wellbeing, and even just looking at water can spark creativity and help you reset. A water-focused getaway is one of the simplest, most rejuvenating ways to support both your mind and body.

🌊 When you’re ready to soak in those benefits, I’m here to plan the perfect escape that matches your vibe—whether that’s a serene river cruise, a coastal European retreat, or a warm-weather island escape. I handle the details, the logistics, and the stress, so all you have to do is breathe deeper, relax harder, and let the water work its magic.

✨ When it comes to travel, “best” is often just a buzzword. Googling “the best beaches,” “the best restaurants,” or “the best hotels” usually pulls up what’s most advertised, most clicked, or most sponsored—not what’s most authentic or right for you. The truth is, the best for one traveler might be totally wrong for another. A quiet local café tucked down a side street might serve your favorite meal of the trip, while a five-star spot that tops Google’s list could feel impersonal and overpriced.

✨ That’s where working with me makes all the difference. I get to know your style, interests, and comfort level so your experience feels curated—not copied. Instead of a generic list pulled from the internet, you’ll get personalized recommendations shaped by firsthand experience and trusted local partners. Forget the “best according to Google.” Let’s find the best according to you. ✈️🌍

Here’s my honest recommendation: splurge for private drivers.

I know rental cars offer flexibility and cost savings, and in theory, driving through the Italian countryside sounds incredibly romantic. But in practice? Arguments about directions, frustration with confusing GPS systems, stress over narrow mountain roads, disagreements about parking…or parking in unauthorized zones, resulting in fines…it all adds up quickly. And nothing kills the vacation bliss faster than snapping at each other in a hot car on a winding road when you’re already jet-lagged.

Private transfers eliminate all of that. Yes, they’re more expensive, but they’re worth every euro for the peace of mind and preserved harmony. You’ll arrive at your destination relaxed, having enjoyed the scenery together, rather than white-knuckling it through unfamiliar traffic.

The beauty of private transfers is that your driver often doubles as an informal guide, pointing out landmarks along the way, recommending restaurants, and sharing local insights. It transforms what could be a stressful travel day into part of the experience itself.

Do you need a private driver throughout your trip? Probably not, but having this luxury, especially on arrival in a destination makes for a much more enjoyable experience right out of the gate.

Ready to meet your private driver? Message me to get started on that next adventure!

A Word About Trip Length

I used to think it wasn’t worth going to Europe unless you had at least 10 nights. Anything shorter would feel rushed, incomplete, or simply not worth the effort of the long flight.

Here’s what I’ve learned: 7 nights is plenty. In fact, for the right escape, it can be ideal.

The key is positioning yourself at properties that offer comprehensive, immersive experiences right on-site. We’re talking about cooking classes and curated wine pairings, private local tours, serene spa experiences, and personalized high touch service that make you feel like a member of the family.

So if you’re reading this and thinking, “I only have a week,” please don’t let that stop you. Maybe two slow-paced stops are perfect. Maybe spending 3 or 4 nights in one place, truly settling in, is more valuable than rushing through five cities in 10 days. As life gets busier and more complicated, shorter trips become not just acceptable, but necessary. And when they’re designed well, that can be just as transformative as longer journeys.

But it does require intention. It requires choosing places that invite you to stay rather than rush through. It requires leaving space for spontaneity and for those unplanned moments that become the stories you’ll tell for years.

And most importantly, it requires being honest about what you want, not what you think you should want, not what looks best in photos, but what will actually make you feel most alive, most connected, and most present in the experience.

Because that’s what the best escapes do. They remind you why you travel in the first place: not to check off a list, but to step out of the ordinary life into something richer, slower, and more beautiful. And you don’t need two weeks to feel that magic. Sometimes, seven thoughtfully planned nights are all you need to fall in love with a destination, and with each other, all over again.

Let’s chat about the perfect one week European escape for you! Message me to get started.

One small item that can make a big difference on any trip is a pair of silicone ear plugs. These flexible, reusable plugs mold perfectly to your ears, blocking out airplane engine noise, snoring seatmates, thin hotel walls, or late-night city sounds so you can actually rest. They’re lightweight, easy to clean, and take up almost no space—yet they help protect your hearing and ensure you arrive refreshed and ready to explore. Whether you’re a light sleeper, a frequent flyer, or someone who values quiet moments, silicone ear plugs are a simple travel essential that bring a whole lot of peace.

You’ll never find me traveling without them! 😴💤🛌
