It’s crazy that we’re already halfway into January and that the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has started!

This year, the festival runs from January 16 – February 23, 2026 at Disney World. This festival will showcase the fine arts, performance arts, and culinary arts.

The Disney Destiny has arrived in Florida! Isn’t she gorgeous??

She just completed her 2-week journey to America from the shipyard in Germany on Sunday night, November 2, 2025, and will sail on her Maiden Voyage on November 20, 2025!

In a departure from the other Disney ships, the theming will be based on Heroes and Villains and feature T’Challa from Black Panther as the main atrium statue. This is the ship for you if you are a Disney, Pixar, and Marvel fan. We can’t wait to check out this unique ship!

We visited the Old Man of the Mountain Memorial Plaza to see this viewing area. This is a genius design! You find the marker for your height and look up at the spot where the formation used to be. The metal posts line up perfectly for your height to form the shape of the formation with the layers on the post right where it used to be. Amazing!

One of the most iconic formations in the Franconia Notch area was the Old Man of the Mountain. I was captivated by how lifelike this incredible outcropping was and was so sad when it fell. Everytime we visit NH, we still have to visit his mountain.

As we started on some hiking around the Franconia Notch area, we came up on this Eagle Ciff rock formation. Named many years ago for the eagles that actually nested up on the mountain, nature has also carved this amazing formation to mark their home. Isn't that incredible??
