🌱Volunteers Needed! Coastal Restoration Planting at Manatee Sanctuary Park 🌱

Join us, Siemens Gamesa and IDEAS For Us for a hands-on day of restoring our shoreline! We’re looking for volunteers to help plant 150 native grasses, wildflowers, and mangroves to boost biodiversity and strengthen shoreline stabilization!

Meet us Saturday, May 31, 2025 starting at 9:30 AM at Manatee Sanctuary Park and please wear close toed shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, reusable water bottle and be ready to get dirty.

We're looking for 14 Florida-based artists to join our upcoming mural exhibition, “Bold Murals: The Joy of Nature,” set to open at the Zoo on February 15, 2025! 🖌️

Chosen artists will be asked to paint live at the Zoo for the first few days of the exhibition. These artists will be asked to create 8-foot murals with the prompt of “How does nature bring you joy?” The completed murals from this first exhibition will remain displayed at the Zoo through May 2025.
