Disney Announces 13 Ride Closures in March 2026 for Refurbishments and Updates

Refurbishment season is underway at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, with 13 attractions scheduled to close in March 2026 for maintenance and updates.

Historically, Disney tackles many ride refurbishments after the holiday rush, when attendance trends slightly lower. While the traditional “slow season” isn’t what it once was, this timing seems to still be left over from when they would prepare for summer travel, and the busy Spring Break crowds are just around the corner.

Several closures will extend into March, so if you’re planning a trip soon, you’ll want to double‑check which rides, restaurants, or even hotels may be unavailable during your visit.
