You’ve probably heard the term “Wild & Scenic River,” but what does it actually mean? 🌊🌲

The Wild and Scenic Rivers Act was created to protect free-flowing rivers with outstanding natural, cultural, and recreational values. Instead of changing a river with major development, the designation helps preserve its free-flowing character and the special places surrounding it.

It’s a pretty fitting title for some of the rivers we’re lucky enough to explore.

We wouldn't get to spend our days exploring these incredible places if it weren't for you, and getting to share them with so many amazing people is something we never take for granted.

Our guided walk-and-wade trips on the Coeur d’Alene and St. Joe rivers continue through October, which means there’s still time to sneak in another day (or two) on the water this fall. 🍂
