We are so excited for new art on Side Street Beer Bar in Downtown Coldwater, especially since our Executive Director Stephanie Hemker Burdick was half of the dynamic duo that painted it this weekend! The other half of the duo, Biolchini, not only painted but also designed this.
A big thank you to the Coldwater DDA for investing in public art projects like this (and to the owners of Side Street Beer Bar, Bill & Ashli Vogler, who not only provided the canvas but also helped with the finishing touch in the heart). Murals throughout help brighten downtown and create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and residents alike.
Yes, there's a story behind the 🐯 tiger 🐯... when you enter the bar from the parking lot, take a look at the photos on the wall and you'll see it's a piece of local history, just like the lamppost featured in the mural.
