We take equipment to the field, test it, work through the issues, and make sure it’s ready to roll before it gets to the customer.

That’s exactly what our team did with this strip-till setup.

The goal is simple: when it’s time for you to get to work, your equipment should be ready too.

See the full process in our new YouTube video this Sunday at noon!

Harvest efficiency is all about keeping the combine moving and making the most of every hour in the field.

A grain bagger gives you the ability to move grain from the combine to the grain cart, put it into a bag right in the field, and come back for it when it makes the most sense. From there, it can head to the dryer, the elevator, or wherever it needs to go.

It’s a cost-effective way to keep harvest moving and get more bushels harvested per hour.

Keep your tender trailer deck clear and your fill hose ready to go.

Our Swing Arm’s mounts underneath the trailer, giving you 30 feet of hose without sacrificing valuable deck space. There are no electronics to fail and no remotes to lose. Just swing it out, connect to your sprayer or applicator, and use the air purge when you’re finished to quickly store everything back in place.

A farmer’s idea brought to life right here at Fennig Equipment.

This custom strip-banding unit combines a FAST DuraPlacer toolbar, Yetter Nutrient-Pro 4000 coulters, and a Salford ST-10 twin-bin dry fertilizer applicator.

Row cleaners create a clean strip, the coulters open a void for precise fertilizer placement, and the walking-tandem sealers close and pack the strip behind it. With section control, integrated scales, prescription capabilities, and independent rate control for each bin, the ST-10 can create and apply a custom fertilizer blend as it moves across the field.

There’s a lot happening on this build and that’s what makes it such a cool setup.

The Salford 5200 is built to manage heavy residue without working deeper than necessary.

Four rows of blades lift and flip the top 6 to 8 inches of soil, mulching and mixing in corn residue while helping avoid the soft conditions deep tillage can leave behind in the spring.

Three rows of coil-tine harrows and 14-inch heavy-duty baskets smooth the soil and break up clods. Run it in the fall, let it overwinter, make one spring pass, and you’re ready to plant.

Not every Salford tillage tool is built to do the same job.

In our newest video, we break down the Salford 2200, HALO VRT, HALO HSD, and 5200 Enforcer, ranking each machine from least to most aggressive. We cover what separates these tools, where each one fits, and which one may be the best choice for your operation.

If you’re considering a new tillage tool for this fall, this video should help point you in the right direction.

Last night, some of us handed in our shop tools for spatulas and volunteered at the Cattlemen’s Stand during the Mercer County Fair!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped support the fair and all the hardworking young showmen. We had a great time serving our community!

Brent has been busy installing one of our own signature products. The Fennig Equipment Corn Head Seeder on this Geringhoff corn head.

The idea is simple: seed your cover crop while harvesting corn. The approximately 700-pound hopper uses a metering system and hydraulic fan to move seed through individual hoses routed across the head. At each row, a deflector spreads the seed directly onto bare soil before the stalk rolls and combine residue pass over it.

That placement gives the seed direct soil contact before the residue settles over it, creating a mulch layer that helps hold moisture and encourage emergence. The Yetter Stalk Devastators can also provide some light incorporation as they travel across the field.

A magnetic whisker switch automatically starts and stops the seeder as the corn head is lowered and raised. When the head is down, it seeds. When the head comes up, it stops.

No additional trip across the field is needed. When the corn is harvested, the cover crop is already planted.

Give us a call at (419) 953-8500 to learn more about the Fennig Equipment Corn Head Seeder.

If you’re looking at a heavy corn crop and wondering how you’re going to manage all that residue this fall, this video is for you.

The Yetter Stalk Devastator lays the stalk flat and crimps it open right under the corn head, helping start the breakdown process at harvest. It also makes driving across the field easier, helps protect your tires and tracks, and makes that residue easier to manage next spring.

Check out our latest video on YouTube to see how it works, and give us a call to get a Devastator ordered for your exact corn head.

Start breaking down residue the moment it comes off the corn head.

The Yetter Stalk Devastator uses a heavy-duty 4” roller with a 1/2” wall and aggressive teeth positioned directly over the row to crimp, cut, and break open the toughest part of the corn stalk.

Check out the full video on our YouTube channel for a complete look at how the Yetter Stalk Devastator works.
