It's too bad when political acrimony becomes retaliatory. This is what happened in the case of a recent review received which you may have seen if you follow me.
A total stranger, with whom we have never even spoken, much less met, but disagree with politically, chose to act in a way as to try and impact our livelihood.
With that said, it shouldn't have that effect because this page has been more of a personal journey, than an actual advertisement for our Cabin in the woods. I haven't even updated the pictures in 8 or 10 years.
It used to be kind of fun to do a check in here to our own home, but now it's too risky to let people know where we are, or more importantly where we aren't.
It's actually been about 15 months since we hosted anybody here, including family. One thing that's true about the review, is right now it's kind of a mess. With fire hardening being so demanding of our time, worrying about the inside has been less of a thing. It's really hard with my OCD desire to have everything in its place, but it is what it is.
However, this person not only has never rented here, but at any place we own or have hosted for others.
One thing about the internet, if there aren't any pics, it didn't happen! For once, we're glad that's true!
