We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Edwards Heating & Cooling, Inc. and the City of Colfax Maintenance Crew for their quick response and assistance in repairing the air conditioning at the Colfax Visitor Center and Colfax Area Chamber of Commerce office.

As temperatures continue to rise, we’re especially grateful for the dedicated professionals who help keep our volunteers, visitors, and staff comfortable while serving our community.

Due to forecasted weather over Donner Pass, Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 will no longer be coming through Colfax tomorrow (April 12), and the event has been cancelled.

We know many of you were looking forward to this — we were too.
