As Sales Coordinator, Sydney is one of the first friendly voices event organizers hear when they start exploring College Station. She keeps our sports sales pipeline moving, responds to proposals, participates in site visits and helps turn early conversations into events that find a home in CSTX. Having competed here herself, she brings a rare perspective to the pitch — she knows what a great host city feels like from an athlete's perspective.

Off the clock? A former Texas A&M Women's Swim Team member (Class of '23) who traded the lane lines for pickleball courts and spin classes, Sydney loves spending her free time traveling and hanging with friends and family. 🏅

Maddy is the connective tissue between clients, vendors and our tourism team. She sweats the details, leads our interns and event-day staff and turns participant feedback into a better experience the next time around. Off the clock? She’s upstate New York born and a die-hard Bills fan, first-generation college grad and a self-described lover of the trendy “hot girl walks,” poolside reads, Pilates classes and a good shopping run. 🥎 FACILITY SPOTLIGHT: Davis Diamond 🥎

College Station is home of one of the finest softball venues in all of college athletics. Davis Diamond opened its gates in 2018 and immediately set the bar for what an elite softball facility should look like.

This is a $28.6 million showpiece on the campus of Texas A&M University. Two thousand plus fans pack the stands on game day with club level seating and two luxury suites raising the experience. Behind the scenes it runs like a championship operation with a 6,744 square foot indoor hitting facility, four batting cages, a full press box and locker rooms built for the moment.

Fun Fact: Davis Diamond set its attendance record at 2,880 when the Aggies hosted Texas Tech in February 2026.

Aggieland was thrilled to host Dave Campbell's Texas Football 7-on-7 State Championships again this year. Athletes from 128 teams competed with powerhouses Keller Central, Ganado and Graham taking home the trophy for their divisions and plenty of pride for their hometowns.🏈

But the action on the field was only half the story. Behind every kickoff was the work of the Compete College Station team, making sure the weekend ran smoothly from start to finish. Coaches got where they needed to be, officials had the support to keep games on schedule and families could focus on cheering from the stands and having fun during downtime. That's Howdy Hospitality in action, and it's why tournaments like this keep coming back.

Dave Campbells 7-on-7 is twenty-eight years strong. We cannot wait to host year 29!

🦅FACILITY SPOTLIGHT: Veterans Park and Athletic Complex🦅

On a Saturday at 3101 Harvey Road, Veterans Park and Athletic Complex runs like a venue that has done this for years. And it has.

The draw is simple. There’s something for everyone here. Thirteen multi-purpose fields handle soccer, lacrosse and football. Five diamonds cover softball. Four turf fields keep a morning storm from cancelling an afternoon final. Every field is lit, so play runs late and meet directors fit more games into each day.

That reliability is why planners come back. Games start on time and finish without a scramble.

There's also something you don't expect at a ballfield. The complex is named for the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial at its center, twelve acres of statues and a Wall of Honor that give a quiet moment between games real meaning.

🏃‍♂️FACILITY SPOTLIGHT: E.B. Cushing Stadium🏃‍♂️

Looking for a track that performs like your athletes do? E.B. Cushing Stadium was built for it.

Located on the west campus of Texas A&M University, this $39.8 million, 90,500 square foot venue hands meet directors a championship-ready stage right in the Heart of Aggieland. The IAAF certified Beynon surface is engineered for speed and athlete safety. Sprint and hurdle lanes sit inside the oval so fans see the entire race. A full warm-up track at the adjacent Anderson Complex keeps competition flowing.

Add full broadcast capabilities, a press box, locker rooms and that signature College Station hospitality and you have a host site ready for your next national-caliber meet. The latest to pick Cushing? The USA Track & Field Lone Star Grand Prix presented by 44 Farms, racing here this Saturday, June 6 starting at 1 PM.
