About half a mile past the main cave at Castner Glacier, a quieter ice tunnel stretches through the glacier like a narrow frozen hallway. It’s darker and less crowded, with deep blue ice overhead and a more rugged, untouched feel. Walking through it feels more like passing through the glacier than just stepping inside it.
