Last night, while researching page 43 of the Steffisburg, Switzerland Church Baptism Book, I discovered the names of my 8th great-grandfather, Peter Meier, my 8th great-grandmother, Barbara Ge**er, and their son—my 7th great-grandfather—also named Peter Meier. Their story reaches back an incredible 366 years.
Discoveries like this inspired me to begin developing a new “Discover Your Family Roots” Best of Europe Tour—a unique travel experience designed for people who cherish their family heritage and want to experience it firsthand.

Celebrating my 57th birthday on Saturday, August 15th with another unforgettable “Best of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania” Group Tour! 🎉🎂🚌
One of the highlights will be enjoying my FREE birthday meal at Shady Maple Smorgasbord, which has been recognized by USA TODAY as one of America’s top buffet destinations.
Our Lancaster County adventure will also include Stoudtburg Village, featuring beautiful German-inspired architecture modeled after Rothenburg, Germany; the colorful Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire; Amish Homestead Days at Plain & Fancy Farm; and a scenic journey through the rolling farmland and peaceful countryside of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
And, of course, no Lancaster County tour would be complete without some legendary local treats! We’ll enjoy Mr. Sticky’s famous cinnamon rolls and sticky buns, delicious shoofly pie and whoopie pies from Miller’s Bakery, and award-winning homemade ice cream from Lapp Valley Farm Creamery. 🍦🥧

Great Life Advice: Graveyards teach us that life on earth is temporary , but eternity is forever. John 3:16 states that accepting Jesus Christ as your is your Lord and Savior will be our one way to heaven. It is too important a life decision to mess up, but billions of people do every day.
