Universal Studios Hollywood does Halloween Horror Nights a little differently.
These are a few of my favorite moments from last year’s event - and while the houses, characters and scares change every year, there’s something about experiencing HHN on a working movie studio backlot that makes Hollywood’s event completely its own.
And then there’s the Terror Tram.
Where else can you climb aboard an actual studio tram, head into the backlot after dark, and walk through the sets where movies and television are made… only to discover that something has gone very wrong?
That combination of Hollywood movie magic + genuine horror is what makes this event so special.
And now HHN Hollywood 2026 is officially underway, with eight haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment and the return of the Terror Tram - this year featuring Art the Clown.
The movies may be made here… but at HHN, you become part of the horror.
