**TRAFFIC ADVISORY**

EVENT: Lobster Loop 5K Road Race
WHEN: Sunday August 30, 2026
RACE TIME: 8:30am - 10:30am

Between the hours of 7:00am and 10:30am, Dowd Avenue will be closed to all thru vehicle traffic. Businesses and residences in the area will be accessible. Canton Police personnel will be assisting with road blocks and vehicle traffic during this event. Please allow extra travel time and use caution as there will be a lot of runners participating.

Expect delays and detours.

Lobster Loop Race Route:

- Race starts at Canton Green Road (Dowd Ave. and Canton Springs Rd.)
- West on Dowd Ave.
- North onto East Hill
- West on Simonds Ave
- South on Dyer Ave.
- East on Allen Place
- North on Hill St.
- East on Gildersleeve
- East on Simonds Ave.
- South on East Hill Rd.
- East on Dowd Ave.
- Race ends at Canton Green Road
