You just don't know what the mountain gives you. This is the difference of just a few minutes. Clouds at the summit, open skies just a few minutes later.

We went through clouds, snow, and graupel but we did make it the summit, just prior to them closing the highway. There wasn't much views at the summit, but it all cleared up on the way down with some great views. It was a Pikes Peak adventure. Unique.

The Fuell family....such a wonderful, fun, and adventurous family. I loved the tour today. There are some experiences that are just different than others due to Pikes Peak weather. This day was one of them.

Pikes Peak got some nice snow this last storm. Yesterday afternoon was the first time it was open to the summit since last week. Closed back down today for more snow...and more to come.

Andrew and Michael was able to reschedule several times to make it to summit in that narrow opening yesterday afternoon. It was great seeing all the snow up there since we haven't had much snow this year.

The mountain got some good snow during our storm last week. Even though we couldn't make it to the summit, Nancy and Russ still wanted to go as far as we could. They are from the Keys so this was a treat for them.

It was really pretty with the fresh snow. It's nice to see it snow capped instead of just brown. Lots of skiers yesterday taking advantage of it!
