I ran a quick comparison of a cruise vacation and an all inclusive resort. Take a look.

7 nights All Inclusive resort in Cancun with round trip air from Colorado Springs $2004.00 per person. One location. June 21 through June 28.

7 Nights Caribbean Cruise, Balcony Cabin Round trip air from Colorado Spring $1995.00 per person. Visit San Juan Puerto Rico, Puerto Plata Dominican Republic and a Private Island. June 21 to June 28.

Both are great values. The reason l like cruising is I found there is more variety in activities and you get to explore multiple locations (or stay on ship, your choice)

I ran this using the vendors pricing as of 3-31-2025. RIU resort in Cancun and MSC World America cruise ship. The cruise quote did not include optional one night pre-cruise hotel or transfers. All pricing may change from day to day.
