A day well spent in London.

So grateful to have been selected to attend Internova Marketplace and connect with travel partners from around the world. In luxury travel, relationships matter, and staying current on new hotels, experiences, destinations, and industry trends is essential to providing clients with the best possible experience.

The conversations, connections, and partnerships built here will directly benefit the travelers who trust me with their journeys. It was a wonderful day of learning, networking, and being reminded why I love this industry so much.

Tucked away in one of London’s most beautiful neighborhoods, The Kensington Hotel feels less like a hotel and more like staying in an elegant London home. Cozy rooms, thoughtful service, incredible food and cocktails, and charming little touches like the Kensington teddy bear made this such a memorable stay.

The perfect home base for slow mornings, evening walks through Kensington, and feeling like a local in London for a few days.

Originally built for the millennium celebrations, the London Eye was only meant to stand for five years, yet it quickly became one of the city’s defining landmarks and was kept on the skyline well beyond its original temporary plan.

What makes it so special is the perspective it gives over London, a slow-moving capsule above the River Thames where the entire city unfolds beneath you.

For our ride, London did what it does best and changed its mood in minutes. We began in rain, with grey skies and mist over the river, and by the time we completed the full circle the clouds had broken, the sun was out, and the city was glowing in that soft golden light that feels almost staged. Only London can shift the entire atmosphere mid-rotation.

Nearly 1,000 years of history under one roof. Since 1066, every British coronation has taken place at Westminster Abbey and its halls hold the stories of monarchs, poets, scientists, and icons including Elizabeth I, Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking, and Isaac Newton. Even those not buried here are honored within its walls. Walking through it feels less like visiting a church and more like stepping through the pages of British history.

Right in the middle of London, St James's Park somehow feels calm and storybook-like at the same time. Winding paths, flower gardens, willow trees hanging over the water, and ducks, swans, and birds everywhere you look. With views of Buckingham Palace in one direction and the London Eye in the other, it’s one of those places that makes the city feel softer for a moment.

Timing is everything in London. Somehow, we landed here just as Parliament reopened and found ourselves in the middle of full royal procession mode.

Marching bands, endless pomp & circumstance, and even a glimpse of King Charles III and Queen Camilla rolling through the streets.

And because it’s London, we experienced wind, pollen from the London Plane Trees directly to the eyes, rain, hail, and sunshine… all in the name of seeing the King. 🇬🇧

Walking through London’s royal shopping streets feels like peeking into a world most of us only hear about. Handmade hats, £5,000 shoes, cigar shops once frequented by Winston Churchill, and wine merchants who still supply the Royal Family centuries later.

Look closely and you’ll spot the Royal Warrants displayed on many storefronts — the official seal showing these businesses have supplied the monarchy for generations. Some for over 100 years.

From perfumers and tailors to cheesemongers and shoemakers, every window tells a story of old London tradition, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury. Even just strolling these streets feels incredibly regal.
