This week marked some pretty huge steps forward at The Beverly boat. We finished our plumbing and electrical. We can now use the water, take a shower and flush a toilet! We can turn the exterior lights on! Last night, Darin and I took a stroll back to take a minute and marvel at the boat in the night sky all lit up amidst the blue light. It was a beautiful moment and has taken us years of work, blood, sweat and tears to get here. This boat has nearly killed us- but we are almost done. 7 years ago captured this beautiful aerial image of our OG treehouse, The Meadowlark Treehouse.

What has unraveled after has been an adventure of treehouse wonder. We have since built The Raven’s Nest treehouse and are in the midst of our final structure, The Beverly which is a boat we have put up in the trees.

We are so grateful of this treehouse utopia and how it has all unfolded. We would love to host you in our cozy cabins this winter as you experience the wonder of Montana up in the snowy trees!

Morning! It’s August and the valley has been booming with tourists and visitors who all come to this beautiful state. We have been BUSY this season and are very grateful. At this point in the summer- please remember to be kind to the service workers who show up to restaurants, attractions, parks, accomodations and venues to make sure we can enjoy the things we love in this busy season.

If you are behind the scenes making it all happen for our guests- thank you! I hope you find moments to yourself to unwind and find peace in this busy time of year. Enjoy these last weeks of summer! Get in your dips in fresh waters and walks in the mountains. Before you know it, we will be cozied in for the winter.

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Check out this AMAZING gingerbread house inspired by our Meadowlark Treehouse that Jen May made? Wow- she sent this photo to me in messages on Facebook. While I have never met her- she seriously puts my gingerbread house to shame. I’ll share mine in my stories for a good laugh. ❄️❄️❄️
