Celebrate two milestones in one night!

Columbia is marking its 300th anniversary and America’s 250th anniversary with a community fireworks celebration on Saturday, July 4 at Glatfelter’s Field. Enjoy live music from Pop Scotch from 6–9 p.m., free hot dogs, Kona Ice, Scoops Ice Cream, family activities, and fireworks!

One of those houses you can’t help but notice when you’re coming into Columbia on Route 462.

It’s easy to drive past places like this without thinking twice, but buildings like this one are part of what gives Columbia its sense of place. So much of our history here remains standing.

Snowfall sure has a way of bringing Columbia to life even when everything seems to slow down and pause. This town has weathered some of the biggest snowstorms in Lancaster County history and still manages to look pretty magical every time it happens.
