Coordinating the schedules of three families and ten adults is a challenge! My clients booked with an extended free cancellation policy taking some of the pressure off!!

Today is departure day and miracle of miracles…the entire family is still set for the trip of a lifetime. Aruba is calling and my clients are answering! Now we pray that the airlines start cooperating better.

It’s pretty surreal that I’ve been on this adventure just over two years. It’s flown by. Maybe my goal for this spring break should be to share some of my clients’ recent vacations!

It’s been awhile since I posted so I thought I should share an update! It’s been a sweet and busy season with these two girlies. If I’m not with my girls, I am with my 660 other “kids” at school.

With that being said, in September alone, VKV clients have enjoyed:

🌎an anniversary trip to England
🌎a friend trip to Spain
🌎a 40th anniversary celebration in Italy
🌎a birthday getaway to Michigan
🌎 a family vacation to Orlando
🌎 the Chiefs Game in LA + wine tasting in Santa Barbara

It has been such a joy to help plan these adventures (and go on a few of them myself). I’m excited to see what opportunities the rest of this fall brings!

Last week I booked two separate vacations to Mexico. Both were for 3 couples.

One trip included 4 kids, the other trip was adult only (leaving 5 kids back at home with the grandparents). One is in celebration of a 40th wedding anniversary while the other is for no reason other than time with friends. One trip prioritized activities for kids. The other simply required a swim-up bar.

Two seemingly similar destinations. Two vastly different trips. Both incredibly unique, individualized and special.

Our society has done a much better job in the recent years of honoring all women’s journey of motherhood on Mother’s Day. However, I think we often overlook the men who might be hurting on Father’s Day. So to all the men who are experiencing the unfulfilled desire to be a father, the loss of a child, the loss of a pregnancy, a broken relationship with a child or, in general, are hurting this Father’s Day, I’m sending you my love and many prayers!

And to the man in this picture (circa 2019) who was grieving the loss of a baby while also selflessly supporting his wife as she was doing the same, I am so very thankful for you and how well you love! You were an amazing father years before we got to meet any babies earth side. Your girls are so lucky to call you dad.
