Some nature lovers enjoyed a peaceful paddle on Cedar Creek in Congaree National Park.
We saw a brown, and banded water snake. A couple of owls made an appearance flying around us. Beautiful morning!

A few folks enjoy a quiet paddle on Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park.
A couple of owls flew by us early in the trip. An Anhinga still wet from fishing, struggled to fly around us, but eventually was able to fly out of the forest.

Folks from all over came out our way to enjoy a quiet, peaceful paddle on Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park.
A couple of barred owls were out along with a white Ibis looking for food.

A nice family traveling through to see state and national parks, stopped by this morning to enjoy a paddle on Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park.
We saw a pair of barred owls, a few turtles and several birds including a white Ibis poking around for fish, always staying just a head of us on the river.

Our group had a nice morning paddle on Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park.
We saw an Egret poking around for fish. A couple of well hidden snakes were out. A couple of barred owls watched us passing by, hanging out very close for great pictures.

3 joined us this morning, one for the second time to explore our forest in the summer. A fun time was had on Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park.
Several painted turtles were out including a rarely seen box turtle. A well hidden brown watersnake was on a comfortable branch, and a banded watersnake was stretched out for the sun.

A small group joined us this morning to enjoy a paddle on Cedar Creek in the Congaree National Park.
A bit cloudy, the snakes and turtles were hard to find. We see a an Egret walking around for a while.
