If you can dock in Hydra, you can dock anywhere. Rock bottom, anchors and chains on top of one another, ferries in and out, depth challenges, and sometimes having to raft three deep and cross other boats just to get to shore.

We issue the license, or we Captain your charter.

Our first SLC students this year have already explored Mykonos and Croatia, respectively. The folks on last week’s charter had never sailed before. Returning to Lake Murray tonight after five days of learning and exploration the Mediterranean near Athens.

This lifelong sailor is piloting a 30ft 12,500lb sailboat backwards through an unforgiving course in one of the tightest marina spaces on the Lake. He earned his International Sailing License from us yesterday. Headed to Italy in May to safely charter a 44’ sailboat with his family. Call us if you want to do the same someday…

“Carl successfully completed a Mediterranean bareboat SLC assessment, demonstrating strong competence in vessel handling under power and sail, including Mediterranean mooring, docking, and close-quarters maneuvering. He showed good judgment, situational awareness, and command presence throughout. Assessed as capable of operating a bareboat charter vessel in Mediterranean-style environments.”
