Thirsty Thursday! 🍹

Well, if you’ve followed me for any length of time, seeing me with a margarita probably isn’t much of a surprise! 😄

This one was enjoyed at the Dawa Bar, tucked away in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, not far from Tusker House. It’s one of my favorite spots to take a break, grab a drink, and soak in the atmosphere. The music, performers, and energy of Harambe make it feel like you’re a world away from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

Happy International Picnic Day! 🧺🌞

One of my favorite things about a Disney vacation is stumbling upon unexpected character moments like this sweet picnic with Donald and Daisy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. ❤️

Even though these characters never say a word, they somehow manage to tell an entire story through their expressions, gestures, and playful antics. It’s those little unscripted moments that often become some of the most memorable parts of a Disney day.

We’re officially halfway to Christmas, and what better way to celebrate than with two cardboard stand-ups from A Christmas Story? 🎄😂

Between Ralphie in his pink bunny suit and poor Randy who “can’t put his arms down,” they’re helping kick off garage sale week at our house.

This weekend, my in-laws and I are having a big garage sale, and I have to admit… getting ready for a garage sale is one of my least favorite activities. Sorting, pricing, moving things around—it’s a lot! But the bright side is that every dollar we make goes straight into our vacation fund. ✈️🏖️

I’ve always looked at it this way: it’s money that’s already been spent and is just sitting around the house. Why not turn it into memories?

Unless I’m saving for something specific or paying for a major expense, garage sale and Marketplace money goes directly toward travel.

So now I’m curious… what do you do with your garage sale or Marketplace money? Do you save it, spend it, put it toward a vacation, or something else?
