It is beautiful to see along the road! But less beautiful when all the outdoor furniture is coated in yellow pollen and you want to sit! 😂

Did you know that Saxony has vast rapeseed fields? 💛🌼

Every spring, they turn the landscape bright yellow and are one of the first real signs that warmer days are on the way. But rapeseed isn’t just beautiful to look at. It’s an important crop, used to produce plant oil and playing a key role for bees and other insects.

A little reminder that spring in Saxony is as useful as it is beautiful. Have you spotted the blooming fields yet? 😊

Day 2 in Tuscany was for wine! .italytravel and led us first to where we admired the beautiful setting and tasted amazing wines, then on to for wine, olive oil and a tasty lunch, and we wrapped up our day for more wine and even honey tasting!

Sunday I got to try out the new Delta One lounge at Boston Logan (a former home away from home IYKYK!!) and wow wow wow. I was bummed that the transfer from Terminal A to Terminal E wasn’t in a Porsche like last time but in a bus but the lounge within a lounge concept was super cool. That SkyClub in Terminal E is pretty great but the Delta One restaurant was so incredible! I had flank steak with chimichurri sauce and the second best French fries I’ve had in my life! I really then wasn’t hungry to eat on the flight. Highly recommend! This was a great start to my Italian road trip with my friend. More photos to follow….

Those bar code stickers the airline puts on your suitcase? That’s how they track where your bag is, what flight it gets loaded onto and who it belongs to. Leaving these tags on may seem like a badge of traveler honor but in reality it’s a good way to ensure if your bag is misdirected that it never makes it back to you. My advice - never, EVER, leave these on your case after a trip!!

Good information for anyone with Spirit flights booked.

It's never easy to say goodbye to an airline. 💛 Our hearts go out to the Spirit team members affected and to the passengers who counted on them as an option out of Columbus.

Spirit's presence at CMH had been shrinking over the past few years — most recently down to regular service to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. As that happened, other airlines stepped in to meet demand on those routes, and we're grateful for it.
