After an extensive renovation of the Dreams Las Mareas in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the JW Marriott Costa Elena Beach is now open as the world’s first JW Marriott all- inclusive resort.
The Dreams was incredible before and one of my favorites. They have done major updates throughout the resort for a more luxury all-inclusive experience.
You can book this resort now. You will fly into Liberia and it is a good hour drive but well worth it! A couple of very good tours of waterfalls around that area too.

The new UNICO Montego Bay Jamaica is opening in March 2027. This is a boutique adult only, all inclusive beachfront resort not far from the airport. The culinary experience and the live music are just two things that are always highly rated at the current UNICO in Riviera Maya and I'm sure this one will be just as amazing. The wellness and signature experiences add to the uniqueness of its offerings. You can book this resort now for stays beginning late March 2027.

If your Spring Break is the last week of March, there are a few seats left on the nonstop flights Fri - Fri, 7 nights stay from Columbus to Punta Cana. I’ve booked several resorts for families that week and my favorite resort that I’ve seen with the best value is Dreams Dominicus La Romana. This is under $9k for a family of four, all inclusive with transfers included. This resort is 45 min from the airport and on the most beautiful beach. There are several pools, restaurants including a cute coffee shop and a very good Japanese Steakhouse.
