The Holiday Inn is a great choice for a anyone wanting to travel to Aruba. The location is perfect; it is so close to the beach; the rooms are renovated & clean; it offers three different pools one being more geared for adukts; several restaurants with one beachfront and amazing sunset dinners.
These pictures are from clients who just returned home. Thank you Kim & James for always sharing your adventures with us.
While I was there, I visited several hotels and areas and can help you find the best place for you.

If you are ready to get your toes in the sands of Aruba, here is some pricing for different hotels I recommend for 7 nights in early August with round trip airfare from CMH. No transfers included because I suggest getting a taxi. They are less $ and easy to use.
Holiday Inn- fantastic location on Palm Beach - $4900.00
Hilton- also a good location, more contemporary with new swim up suites, spa and taste of the art fitness studio - $5900.00 with limited balcony views
Hyatt Regency - great location and beautiful, sprawling resort with nice kids pool area and one of the best casinos - $7200.00 resort view
Marriott Stellaris - a little further down from the main area of restaurants but the complex is huge with a very popular casino - $6600.00
If you are interested in all inclusive, Riu Palace Antillas adult only - $6300.00 Oceanview
Riu Palace for families - $5800.00 for partial oceanciew. This resort is supposed to have all of their renovations completed soon which will really make this resort a great choice.
If you book with a reputable travel agent who uses wholesalers, all Aruba taxes are included. If you choose to book directl, be aware of taxes that will be charged which can be high at 23% and an environment tax per room.
Let me know if I can help with anything or you have any questions about the hotels and Aruba.

From west to east on the island of Aruba…
Go see the National Park if you are visiting so you can see the difference between the two.

Perfect day in Aruba! Coffee on the balcony with amazing views and then bicycling to Eagle Beach to check out that area. That beach is much wider but other than that, both Palm and Eagle are gorgeous beaches. The hotels aren’t as high and they are all across the street. The hotels on Palm Beach are closer to the beach.
There are several cool little beach bars and restaurants. We stopped at Coco Loco for a couple of drinks and to watch the kite surfers.
There are electric scooters and bicycles on about every corner around here to rent. If you do explore, go early before it gets too hot. It’s a very dry heat here. Be sure to have water and chapstick with you at all times. We spent the afternoon at the pool, rented a gazebo at the Seasie Tower of the hotel which is more private and so close to the beach. Another seafood dinner on the beach at The Pelican Pier. The coconut shrimp was delish.

A look at the restaurant, retail and nightlife area at Palm Beach, Aruba right behind The Holiday Inn.

We did an island jeep tour that took us to the east coast to see the natural part of the island. We went to the National Park and were blown away by the differences in the coast line. Aruba has a desert climate with many different cacti - the palm trees on the west coast with all of the hotels are imported in and planted. The huge waves are relentless. You won’t see any boats on that side except maybe during hurricane season when the wind settles a bit. The wind is brutal here. We ended up at the California Lighthouse and saw Arashi Beach which is popular with the locals.
If you come to Aruba, the tour of the National Park will amaze you. It was worth the rough ride.

You can walk on the beach or on the sidewalk along the beach to all of the different hotels on Palm Beach. I walked a little of both to the Marriott Complex with their Stellaris Hotel & Casino, the Surf Club and the Ritz Carlton.
The Stellaris has a nice adult only pool area with private cabanas and a tiki bar. You will also find Ruth Chris’s Streakhouse along with other upscale dining choices. There are several other restaurants along the beach as well. It’s a very popular hotel here.
