Being a business owner comes with a lot of highs… and some quiet lows people don’t always see.

One of those? Watching family and friends book trips somewhere else when they know you’re a travel advisor.

Does it sting? Absolutely. Especially when my services are complimentary and I’m always happy to help.

But I’ve learned something important: no one owes me their business. I’m not meant to be everyone’s travel advisor, and that’s okay. Some people prefer to book on their own, want complete control, or simply already have another way of doing things.

That doesn’t change how excited I am to see your vacation photos or hear about the memories you made.

And for those who do choose to trust me with their vacations, thank you. Your support allows me to keep doing what I love, and I never take it for granted.

Let’s recap our first two sea days aboard the MSC Seascape! 🌊🚢

First things first… this ship is absolutely stunning. The Swarovski crystal staircase is every bit as gorgeous in person and 100% worth stopping for a photo (or five).

We kicked off vacation the right way with a couples massage. Adam said he felt like they “beat the 💩 out of him,” while I was over there fighting for my life trying not to fall completely asleep. 😂

The rest of the day was exactly what a cruise day should be: pool time, buffet snacks, and evening trivia with our new friend Tom from Scotland.

Then came the surprise of the night—a glow party that wasn’t even on the schedule! We were instantly transported back to our early 20s with club music blasting while glow sticks flew across the dance floor courtesy of a group of teenagers. It was chaotic in the best way.

Night two was Elegant Night, so we dressed up and had dinner at Butcher’s Cut. Easy 10/10. 🥩✨

We wrapped up the evening at the silent disco, and I can confidently say it was one of the most fun nights I’ve had in a long time. (A little liquid courage may have contributed… 🙈🍹)

Sea days are usually my favorite part of a cruise, and MSC Seascape definitely delivered. Now onto the ports! 🌴⚓️

All new bookings will include the option to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.

If travel insurance is declined, a signed waiver will be required acknowledging the risks associated with traveling without coverage. In the event of cancellation, clients who decline insurance will also be responsible for a cancellation fee paid directly to me to compensate for the time and work invested into planning and managing the trip.

As a small business owner operating on a 100% commission-based income, I am not paid until after clients have completed their travels. This decision was not made lightly, but due to the increasing number of unforeseen events and trip cancellations since March, it has become necessary to help protect both my time and income.
